AI was used in this project as a way of exploring fragile and inaccessible natural territories without physically intruding on them. Many of the environments represented would be difficult, dangerous, or environmentally disruptive to document directly.
By using AI, TRESPASS approaches nature with distance and restraint rather than extraction, aligning with the magazine’s belief that not every place needs to be entered to be understood.
Access does not imply acceptance.
TRESPASS is an independent editorial project exploring physical and psychological territories through photography, essays, and field reporting, treating each issue as an immersive study of a different boundary.
Issue 01 focuses on Nature — photographing landscapes, ecosystems, and encounters that remind us we are guests in a world that does not need us. It explores the dangers of the natural world and the unknown. The discourse centres on man versus nature- documenting the raw, honest, and often uncomfortable relationship between human presence and wild spaces.
